Activity resources

Group resources

This page will contain ideas for what to do with your group.  We will try to focus on local activities and areas of badge work which can be tricky to deliver.  Please let us know of any good resources we can add.

Places to visit

Evanton Community Woods

Brilliant space to explore and play around in.  You can either do your own thing or ask the folk there to help you (for a small donation).  There is a playwark, shelter building, pond-dipping, firelighting and a couple of campfire areas.

Tiso (Inverness) Store Visit

Contact the store manager to arrange an after-hours visit;  pitch tents, use different types of stoves, try the climbing wall etc

Police / fire station / lifeboat station visits

Do any of your parents work for these (or other) community services?  Invergordon lifeboat station does a  great tour if you ask nicely.

Go Outdoors (Inverness) Store Visit

Contact the store on 0344 3876834 to arrange a visit and try out various pieces of kit.
